Support Project HOPE in Haiti

HOPE stands for Health Opportunities for People Everywhere. Help HOPE fulfill its mission.

Following a tragedy, we often feel an intense desire to help - especially when the tragedy hits a person or group that does not have the means or ability to help themselves. At the same time, I know that many people are skeptical of giving money - wondering if their funds will be used responsibly to truly get help where the donor wants the donation to go.

Project HOPE is the group that I worked with following Hurricane Katrina and various other health missions. They do phenomenal humanitarian work, are extremely well run, and have the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to disasters - they did exceptional work after the Tsunami and Katrina. If you are looking for a way to help in Haiti, you can trust that they will use funds responsibly and that your money really will have a direct impact. In Haiti, HOPE will be operating out of the Navy ship USS COMFORT - a giant floating hospital. The plan is to have both ship based and land based efforts. They are also bringing enormous amounts of supplies for the people of Haiti.

If you are wanting to help in Haiti, please consider Project HOPE as a safe and powerful place to donate.
Please forward this on to anyone you feel would be interested in helping out.
