Help for Haiti

HOPE stands for Health Opportunities for People Everywhere. Help HOPE fulfill its mission. The literacy rate in Haiti is 53%. GDP per capita in US dollars is $1,500. Life expectancy is 51 years old. The literacy rate in the United States is 97%. GDP per capita in US dollars is $36,300. Life expectancy is 77 years old. In 1987 a 7.1 magnititude earthquake struck the San Fransisco Bay Area. 63 people died. In 2010, a 7.0 magnititude earthquake devestated Haiti. An estimated 200,000 people are missing or perished. The one major factor in each of these countries is poverty. We are fortunate to live in a country with resources to handle natural diasters. The people of Haiti are not. Please donate to Project Hope so that needed medical supplies and healthcare personel can get to the people who need them the most.
