As many of you know, my friend Alexandra Duguay was one of the victims of the tragic earthquake in Haiti. Her body was found in the UN very early this morning. Alexandra was my star student at NYU Continuing Ed (She had actually won the class in some UN charity auction). She was intelligent, funny, beautiful, open, and went to Haiti as an aid worker to attempt to make the world a better place. She is one of those people who I met and fell in love with immediately. The world is less rich without her, and I only hope that her memory can inspire us all to make it a better one.
